Skadar Lake National Park: Guided Boat Tour to Kom Monastery
1.Skadar Lake National Park: Guided Boat Tour to Kom Monastery
Spend three hours exploring Lake Skadar from Virpazar aboard a traditional wooden boat. Your English-speaking guide, often a captain such as Petar or Jovan, leads you through narrow channels to Lesendro ruins, water-lily islands, Kamenik for local wine and pastries, and Kom Monastery. A short swim may follow, weather and timing permitting.

“Our guide Petar was knowledgeable, friendly, humorous & entertaining. Lake Skadar was beautiful, the bird & plant life abundant. I truly enjoyed visiting the monastery & seeing the frescoes. Lovely wine & home made pastries were a nice touch! The only down side is we did not get to swim- apparently where Petar had planned for us to swim, the wind kicked up a bit so it was a no-go😪 swim”
